Play To Prepare ("PTP", "we", "us") is a product of MSAE, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. By playing PTP you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, not skimmed, so they are short and they say what actually happens.
What Play To Prepare is
PTP is a practice game for multiple-choice exams. You pick an exam, play rounds of ten questions, clear places on a map, sit full mock papers built on the real exam pattern with the real clock and negative marking, and watch a readiness score respond to how you actually perform.
What you are buying, when you buy, is a time-limited licence to use our practice material inside the app. It is not a course, not tuition, and not a promise about any exam result. Practice improves your chances; nobody can promise a result, and we never do.
Our questions are original, and we are affiliated with nobody
Every question in PTP is written and checked in our own content lab. Our questions are not actual questions from any past, present or future examination paper, and we never claim they are. We do not reproduce previous examination papers. Our questions are original items built to match the pattern, syllabus and difficulty of the exams they help you prepare for.
PTP is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Staff Selection Commission, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, the Railway Recruitment Boards, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, or any other recruiting body. Examination names appear in PTP only to describe which examination our material prepares you for.
Who can play
PTP is for people aged 18 and over. These are graduate and school-leaver recruitment examinations. Candidates are adults, and the service is built for adults. If you are under 18, this service is not offered to you.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Your account is yours alone: one person, one account, and it works on up to three devices. You are responsible for what happens on it.
You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings. Deletion is final after 30 days: you are signed out everywhere at once, and signing in again within those 30 days cancels the deletion and keeps your progress. A live pass is different: it ends the moment you ask to delete and it is not refunded. We say so, and ask you to confirm it, before you delete. If you sign in again within the 30 days, the pass comes back until the date it was due to end; the days you were away are not added on. We can suspend or end accounts that break the fair-use rules below, abuse other players, or abuse these terms. An account ended for breach keeps no pass and gets no refund of the remainder.
The free game, energy and ads
PTP is free to play. Playing costs energy, and energy comes back through daily rewards and watching optional ads. Short ads also appear between some rounds. The free game is the whole game; paying only removes the waiting and the ads.
The Pass: a one-time purchase, never a subscription
The Pass is our only purchase: a one-time payment for a fixed period of unlimited play without ads. It does not renew itself, we store no mandate to charge you again, and when it expires it simply expires. There is nothing to cancel, ever.
Buying another pass extends your access from the later of today or your current expiry, so buying early never costs you days. The price and the period are shown before you pay, taxes included. If we change a price, the change never touches a pass already bought.
Fair use
The questions, explanations, artwork and story in PTP belong to us. You get a personal licence to play, not a licence to copy. Do not scrape, extract, republish or resell our content; do not use bots or automation to play; do not share an account; do not reverse engineer the app.
There is a daily limit on how much material one account may draw. It is set well above what any real day of study uses. You will not meet it by studying hard; it exists so an account cannot be used to copy the question bank. Breaking these rules is a breach of this contract and ends the pass without a refund.
Play means reading and answering the questions yourself. When our systems see play no person produces (questions answered faster than they can be read, answers at too even a pace, far more questions taken than played), the app tells you what it saw and play pauses: first a warning, then pauses of half an hour, then five hours, then a hold of seven days. Everything you have played is kept throughout. If misuse continues after a hold, a person at PTP may close the account; nothing closes an account on its own. You can write to us about any pause, hold or closure, and a person will reply. An account closed for misuse keeps no pass and is not refunded.
Refunds, and who gives them
Where you bought your pass decides who refunds it. A purchase made through Apple's App Store or Google Play is a sale by Apple or Google: their refund process and their rules govern it, and we cannot overrule them. A purchase made on our website is a sale by us, and our own Refunds and Cancellation policy governs it.
One thing you agree to here because Apple requires it: if you ask Apple for a refund, you agree that we may share with Apple how much of that purchase you actually used. Apple asks us for exactly that, weighs it in their decision, and we answer truthfully, including when the facts favour you.
The material, and the service
We correct, add and withdraw questions all the time. That is what keeps the bank worth practising on. Nobody is entitled to a specific question staying in the game.
We aim for continuous service and do not guarantee it. Planned maintenance is announced in the app. If a paid pass loses days to an outage on our side, we extend it by the lost time.
Automated systems, and asking for a person
Automated systems help run PTP: they decide what the game shows you next, they help answer enquiries, and they detect misuse. You can always ask for a person, and decisions that end an account or keep money are made by one.
Honest limits
PTP is provided as it is. We work hard on correctness, but we are not liable for your performance in any real exam or for losses that come from relying on the app. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits anything that Indian consumer law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
If Play To Prepare changes hands
We may transfer these terms, your account and the service to a successor that takes over Play To Prepare, and we will tell you when that happens. Your rights under these terms do not change.
Changes to these terms
PTP is a growing product. When we add features or products, we update these terms and the effective date above, and we announce material changes in the app or by email. Playing after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Law, complaints and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the seat of our registered office have jurisdiction. Questions, notices and complaints go to support@playtoprepare.com. Our Grievance Officer is Jackson, at the same address. A complaint is acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days, with a written outcome either way.
